She is driven by the search for the Sunken Nation, but mainly for the treasure it may hold.

Sonya was once a prisoner on The Neptune, but Hendrik let her roam free after realizing she could escape on her own.

She and Hendrik use each other for now, though either would betray the other if interests clash.
